  1. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t bring myself to tuck a shirt without a belt. If you ditch the belt you might as well forgot about the watch too. Also, I’m a big fan of a basic, light weight hoodie under a sport coat. It’s such a great combo, looks great, is very comfortable in the cooler months and you can always ditch the jacket to accommodate a different setting at a moments notice. Every time I put on a hoodie under a sport my wife goes nuts-o, it gets a lot of looks too 🤫. Watches always with a belt tho, this is my experience/opinion 🤷‍♂️ Experiment and do what works for you kings 💯 👑

  2. I have a hard time sourcing those work/trucker jacket/over shirt/"shacket" hybrid style pieces, like you wear in the video and in look 2. What I tend to find the most are denim jackets which aren’t nearly as sophisticated or just literal button down shirts in a fabric with texture. When looking for suede it’s almost always a lined and filled jacket for outdoor use. Does anyone have the perfect search terms, brands or other tips to find what I’m looking for? I like to switch them up with sports coats but only own denims, currently, which are a bit to casual for some days at the office.

  3. ww2 rough-out boots (type w/o the buckles ). Levis’s 501s,-any color-…good quality A-2 Flight jacket in brown.

  4. I would suggest some more affordable wristwatch options. I love Longines, VC, and IWC, but for the more budget-conscious consumer, you might want to point them in the direction of Tissot or Bulova. A Lunar Pilot instead of a Speedy; a 40mm Tissot ‘Gent instead of a Datejust 41.

And I understand the idea of “buy cheap buy twice” which is why I mention those specifically. They’re not “cheap” watches. But they’ll give you the look and heritage of those bigger brands at 1/10 of the price or even less.

  5. Looking young is a waste for a man of my age. I am 78 and look comfortable in my skin and what I wear. I do appreciate tips in videos like this. Style rather than fashion works better.

  6. I’m 40.
Although I’m Trans and don’t consider buying anymore men’s clothes.

Men’s clothes are so damn boring.
    Blue, grey, black and beige.
    It’s like a walking turd

  7. If you actually wear that sport coat out like that no one should take your fashion tastes seriously that looks like shit.

  8. Biggest struggle I have is with shoes. I were "sneakers" all the time bc they never bother my feet at the end of the day and they tend to be the only shoes that fit my seemingly unique skies of feet (long, narrow, high arch).

  9. I started loosing my hair at 15. I am 43 now and although I have a bald head, I shave everything off, I have an awesome beard which makes up for it and get so many more compliments. Guys, If you are loosing your hair, shave it off and grow some on your chin. Trust me, it works.

  10. Too many rules. Just do you. It’s 2024. Corporate America has become more acceptable to varying styles in the workplace.

  11. Same with sporty watches vs classic watches…
Same with flashy cycling sunglasses vs classy sunglasses…
Less is more. Buy expensive, but buy once.

  12. Your advise is " wrong" you are a "summer type" (like me , blond, blue eyes Caucasian) but your wardrobe is brownish .Chocolate and brown is more for " wintertypes" . Dark skinned people, brown, orange, chocolate, yellow..Not a racial thinghy. But Grey, Blue are "" our"" colors suits white people better..So nice i was informed and didn’t watch this "influencing" YT style advise before i knew this.. (nice outfits though)

  13. My problem is o know what my style is and I find myself buying the same clothes over and over. To the point I forget what I have and instead of finding, I end up buying another of the same or similar. M

I’m older and learn how to dress decades ago bc it was important to me to look good or stand apart from others. I also think clothes are much easier to buy bc the standards of what looks good has become much higher since the mid 90’s. Back in the 80’s and 90’s, to look different or have something nicer, you had to buy designer or pay more than the average. Now if you buy a H&M or Zara shirt, you couldn’t tell if it was Gucci or Prada. Yes, the quality may be not as good, but many are fine with a cheap brand that looks good and only care a lot the looks. So to be stylish, it’s not as hard anymore and you could look the same as the ceo and be a cashier. It wasn’t like that before and back then if you looked good and stylish, you mad a good living. So now you have to up the game and focus on the details and fit bc you no longer can just buy designer clothes and stand out.

I mean I still love designer clothes when I could afford it, but it has to be special, but in the old days, 90% of designer clothes were desirable bc nothing in the lower market looked anything like it. Why big designers now use logos on their clothes bc it’s not easy for them to keep making innovating clothes each season. So in a way, you younger ppl. are lucky to have options now bc we didn’t . Why when you watch old movies, you could tell who was rich and not by the way they dressed. Bc not everyone could afford to dress like that and much of it was not sold at JC Penny.

  14. I’m sure this video is appropriate for some men. Having said that, as someone over 40, I’m not giving up my Nikes and Jordans. It’s all about the fit. Well fit clothing makes all the difference. Yes, as you age, I would recommend keeping to one or two "youthful" items, but the clothing presented in this video is just devoid of color and personal expression. Older people can wear color outside the brown color palette.

  15. Why do so many people suggest that the light wash jacket is immature, yet I see plenty 35+ year old women wearing it, no one bats an eye. Either it’s mature, or it isn’t. It’s clearly neutral when it comes to "maturity," yes it has a bit more of a "youthful" vibe, but it’s far from "immature."

  16. I’ve been watching quite a few men’s style videos over the last few days and advice on spring, winter and autumn outfits has been great for here in New Zealand. We are going into winter now.

The interesting thing I see popping up again and again are the really stark differences in summer outfits in the USA vs here in NZ and Australia also. Americans have a very different way and ideas of dressing in summer. Americans would be shocked at how much jean shorts and flip flops are worn in summer in this corner of the world in summer. Jean shorts are also extremely common in Europe.

  17. Tip: The less you care about what is "In", the more confident you will be and appear. This will also attract others who would rather be with someone who is realistic. Thus, a better and happier life and a bigger bank account.

  18. I never understood the concept of suede jacket, can someone enlighten me, please?

    1. Suede can be ruined by water, you cannot let it get wet, and should protect it from water.
    2. I wear jackets in autumn and spring, for the sole reason of protecting me from the cold and rain.

How the heck does you combine 1 and 2 together?

  19. Mate, you only just make ‘How A Man Should Dress Casual As An Adult’ in the very first frame.
    Just, by a whisker.
    It was close.

  20. To be honest I feel like everyone looks the best in what they feel the most comfortable in. Like a 45 year old dad will look better in a band tee and loose jeans with a smile on his face than he would in a nicely tailored suit that feels like a costume.
