  1. Zara sale is on today for real leather pointed toe boots under £100 I think they were £69 for knee high and ankle boots were around £40

  2. I’m looking for that perfect trench too it’s hard to see what the fabric is like online and because it’s trendy there are so many cheap flimsy trenches around at the moment 😢

  3. From one Canadian gal to another —- I would love to find a reasonably priced silk shirt —- button down; long sleeve, tailored. As I am short 5′ and quite busty, it’s been a struggle!

  4. As a woman of 63, I suggest that young woman size up in any investment belt. It’s extremely unlikely that your waist measurement will stay the same after 40 or 50. This has nothing to do with maintaining diet, weight, fitness or general size, the body just begins to store more fat around the middle in the perimenopausal and menopausal years. It just happens to everyone, including mature men, whose hormonal changes are more gradual. I remember watching my hourglass shape gradually turn more rectangular, almost month by month, with waistbands becoming too tight. No one thinks at 25 or 35 that this will happen to them, but it will. I bought my good belts in my 20s in a Medium instead of my true size then, a Small/XS, so now I can still enjoy wearing them. (It’s difficult to compare sizes from 40 years ago, they’ve become so much bigger since then. I was the smallest available size then, which was a 4 or 2 in Petites only, now that’s about an 8. There were no sizes 0, 00, or 000 then, that’s all new. My hips are still a current size 6/8, but my waist is around a size 10, or even 12 in some brands. Even within a single brand it varies, I just got a perfectly-fitting-waist skirt in a size 12 from BRFactory, but the shorts in the same size and style just fall off! I wish brands would attempt to standardize sizes again, this time internationally (the only time this was done was in the US). I can wear anything from a XXS to a L, it’s frustrating.

  5. I found that I was still wearing “teenager clothes” a few years ago. I’m now 68 but I thought older women wore fat, flowered dresses! I still wear 4” heels, but I sold lots of clothes on Poshmark and spent the last two years purchasing used silk, cashmere, and wool on the internet. I’m definitely keeping my leather jackets and big wool coats. I would wear everything on this video! Great job!

  6. for me I am always looking for the perfect pair of jeans… I am not into skinnny and love a loose fit and wide leg.. I am from Canada too … Nova Scotia

  7. I just bought myself a perfect white shirt (from Power of the People). I LOVE it! Next I am saving for boots. I like your list – for me a blazer is something I’d wear over a jean jacket. Also, I love silver over gold – bangles and a loose watch are my go-to’s with a long necklace and solid silver hoops. Love your videos! 📌🤍

  8. Loved this video and really appreciate your attention to detail. Also the examples from other sources are a wonderful touch. They would be even more powerful if you could bring in more body types, ethnicities and older people as well. I just turned 52 and still LOVE fashion 🙂

  9. Shop second hand if you have a tight budget, I rarely by anything new and wear high end brands that I would never pay full price for. Good for the planet too!

  10. Timeless and classic always work and it saves money. But it’s always good for fashion giants to carry some trendy peices to attract a variety of consumers to help boost sales and generate revenue.

  11. I rather like the newer term “Fashion Jewelry” instead of “Costume Jewelry”, it’s more descriptive of how we actually wear most of our non-precious jewelry.

  12. Good video with a lot of helpful and unique information ( like the history of the Breton sweater). You showed some really lovely things. My next investment is going to be an Hermes belt! I, though, cannot, absolutely cannot due the “ oversized” look. On that one, I just can’t….
    I hope your channel grows!

  13. I’m a new subscriber here and after watching a few of your videos and I really like your style and your energy you’ve got a really lovely way about you. I’ll be catching up on your videos, thank you for your help, advice and the effort you put onto these videos. Thank you keep up the great work! 😘💋❤

  14. Another fantastic video! I love the list and I’m on board with everything but the gold necklace and earrings. I understand that silver is making a comeback! 🎉 I think you should choose the metal that looks best with your coloring. The only addition I would make is a navy or black blazer. 🤍

  15. Oh my gosh, you are a ray of sunshine! I love your enthusiasm and joy, and your suggestions are excellent! I’m very happy I found your channel!!✨🎉✨

  16. I agree with your list 100%. I would add a great pair of black jeans as well. Also on the hunt for a trench coat. I would love a coat made by Holland Cooper. Trench or a wool coat is my dream.

  17. great video! Enjoyed all the items. Denim and white shirt, I used to think it’s boring, now I love it. ;.*

  18. Good practical advice 👏 thank you. Love that you show a variety of examples to enable styling what you already have. I’ve definitely moved away from buying trends that don’t suit my style or proportions. Longevity is key even if one cannot afford the more expensive labels. Timeless classics that can be restyled for current trends. Great content!

  19. If you are just starting out on a wardrobe I’d say you basics are the most important then accessories second you can make lots outfits just from a black and white t-shirt and a pair of jeans and a black and white or cream pair of trousers and maybe a pair of leather trousers or faux leather and that will give you smart and casual outfits the accessories will dress it up or down ❤

  20. The belt point was very good. Already after few of your videos you have shown how to easily bring nice framing or accent to the outfits with good belts.
I like warm brown tones in boots, bags belts and have seen you using those beautifully.

  21. 🙅I don’t care what trends are, midi or mini dresses and pants, on women are an abomination. Dt 22:5; 1 Tim 2:9, 10

  22. Very good video. I am an hourglass and wear a lot of belts. There is an amazing belt source which is family owned called "B-The Belt". These belts are amazing style and all leather. I saw some cute items, but I will not buy from fast fashion like H & M and Zara.
